January 2004. Prof. Lewin covered the first quarter of the 20th century of visual art. He discussed the key movements and showed the fascinating evolution starting with Impressionism and finishing with Marcel Duchamp. After Duchamp, anything goes. He emphasized the importance of pioneering art which changed the way we look at our world and ourselves.
